JSON code generation / Rust

Free online JSON to Rust struct generator

Generate Rust structs for a feature manifest. Open your JSON locally, then inspect and download the generated files.

Privacy-first processing: pasted or opened JSON stays in this browser tab and is not uploaded to our servers.

Target: RustChoose serializer and model options in the workbench

Paste JSON or Drag and Drop your file.

Load the page to start the local workbench.

Recent successful runs

Only settings and opaque source fingerprints stay in this browser. JSON and results are not saved.

Try the feature manifest example

The editor starts empty. Load this example only if you want a small source to test the generated model.

Static example with expected output

Verified with the local schema-codegen engine.

Feature manifest JSON

{
  "feature_name": "bulk-edit",
  "enabled": true,
  "limits": {
    "max_items": 120,
    "timeout_seconds": 3.5
  }
}

Operation

Generate Rust structs with Serde derives.

  • Language: Rust
  • Serializer: Serde
  • Integer policy: native
  • File layout: split files

Expected output excerpt (generated_root.rs)

pub struct GeneratedRoot {
    pub enabled: bool,
    pub feature_name: String,
    pub limits: GeneratedRootLimits,
}

Caveat: Serde support also emits Cargo.toml dependency hints; review them before merging into an existing crate.

Before using this output

Default Serde output needs the emitted Cargo dependencies. Review absent versus null values for production decoding.

Generation analyzes the source shape; it does not validate every future input. Review the language, serializer, enum, primitive, and file-layout options before downloading.
